John Himmel’s vision is to design and produce fine quality furnishings for the design community. The single guiding design philosophy is to create furniture that is classic enough to be unanchored in time; furniture that looks both forward and backward. John Himmel produces furniture that is equally at home with period antiques or minimal modern design.

John Himmel Decorative Arts’ mirrored furniture collection, has a cameo appearance on the wildly popular TV series. Episode 8 in season 3 has a scene that takes place in the opulent Presidential Suite at the St Regis Hotel in New York City. Both mirror and rope collections can now be seen at the David Sutherland Showroom in Chicago.
